Haha, that would be good laugh.

I'll probably do this year like I did last year: settle into the hotel room a bit, grab some dinner, and then head over to the BCC with my group to get our badges. We usually end up talking to random people hanging out outside the center after getting our badges, at least for a bit. Afterward we'll probably just head back to the hotel, hit up the pool/hot tub, and chill with the other attendees that happen to be there. Honestly, I just can't imagine waiting in line for the badge. However, waiting in line to be the first in the door on opening day? Now that I have done in the past.

In the past few years people have made standing in line Thursday night an event in its own. I haven't done this personally - I only drive up from DC, stare at awe at all the people, pick up my badge, and then go back home. This year however I am thinking about being a bit more adventurous. I would like to try and get in line early with all the other nutcases to see what it's like.

I'm sure that any staffers reading this post will tell me one of two things:

1. Don't get in line early
2. drink water until you drown

I will bring plenty of water with me - I am not a newbie and I am well aware of what Baltimore summers are like. But I would like to here from people who've been in the Thursday pre-reg line what their experiences were. What did you do in line? What's it like? Other than water, what should you bring with you while waiting? Post your stories here.

Depends on if you have a hotel or not. 7:00 may not be a bad time.

I'll be heading downtown today early, but not to stand in line. I'd like to get some shots of the Inner Harbor, and I'd also like to go to the comic museum (Geppi's Entertainment Museum) and take pics. Around 6 or so I'll actually be getting in line.

Today is going to feel so utterly gross. .__. I don't mind rain & storms, but the heat & humidity... I hope nobody waiting in line is going to be in any crazy cosplay, because they're not going to feel too good. :|
