Now that we've all had about a week to get used to the cold, depressing real world again, here's a little reminder of the unreality that is Otakon... IN COMIC FORM!
Hope you guys enjoy this little nostalgic trip to, um, last weekend! -------------------- Conventional Wisdom What happens in an Anime Convention DOESN'T stay in an Anime Convention

That one struck a particularly sour chord within me. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Quite funny, Blitzkrieg1701; you did a nice job illustrating some of the biggest standouts in the con. This post has been edited by PlasmaFire: Jul 24 2009, 11:30 PM -------------------- |

Durn fool kids, don't know nothing these days... then again, were you dressed as John Cleese dressed as a waitress? That's an important part right there.
Wait, hold up! I don't think I've ever seen cthulu on the streets of baltimore before. Maybe ugly people close to it, but not it YET! Well of COURSE you didn't see Cthulhu! He's too afraid of the roads in Baltimore to drive to the Inner Harbor! -------------------- Conventional Wisdom What happens in an Anime Convention DOESN'T stay in an Anime Convention

This was me! I was the girl who came up to you at the end of closing ceremonies. At first I thought you might be cosplaying "the guy who does that webcomic", but I figured that would just be odd. |

This. I agree so much with this. After taking off my wicked lady cosplay, I felt like I was nobody and it saddened me. -------------------- Corinne Oplinger

Thanks again for all the feedback, guys!
http://www.drunkduck.com/Conventional_Wisd...ex.php?p=590372 This was me! I was the girl who came up to you at the end of closing ceremonies. At first I thought you might be cosplaying "the guy who does that webcomic", but I figured that would just be odd. Oh man, the day some poor soul actually COSPLAYS me is the day reality offecially implodes in on itself. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Still, that was a really cool moment! My friend was dressed as Cthulhu at Otakon this year. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Here's me fighting him. Really enjoyed your comic. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) I stand corrected. Actually, I think I saw him at some point (didn't get a picture, though) -------------------- Conventional Wisdom What happens in an Anime Convention DOESN'T stay in an Anime Convention

This was hilarious last year, I'm so glad you did it again. My favorite part was the 'hardest part is being found' one. Exactly what I went through trying to find someone in the dealers room.
*And completely off topic* ! YOU were the season 02 Matt?! Aaaah!! I wanted to glomp you so much but didn't get around too it! You were awesome! |

Great comic man. Some of them we're funny, some of them we're true and some of them we're both (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
