Question's in the title. We gofers were told that the 2011 Gofer T-shirts were still being designed, and would be mailed to us later. It's been months now, does anyone know what happened to them?

On a slightly different shirt-related note, is there any way to exchange our souvenir T-shirts? I didn't bother checking the shirt until after I got home because gofer Ops has been so good in past years, but it turns out they handed me an XXL shirt instead of a large. It's never been worn, and probably never will be since I have no intention of gaining that much body mass.

I'm fine if it's going to be awhile longer... just wanted to know what was going on. Although if any staffers want to clarify I'd appreciate it. =3

Heh...been wondering this for a couple weeks actually...
well...in the back of my mind...

At this point I'd call it "lucky" if they get sent out before X-mas...and REALLY lucky if it's before Thanksgiving... *shrug*


In terms of your second question Cayten.....In the past they gave away extra "old" Otakon shirts to hard-working staff/gofers, etc in subsequent years.......but normally what's left over are those XL and XXL sizes so I don't know if keeping your fingers crossed for a smaller size still being available is realistic.....

Guys, I'm very sorry. It is entirely our fault that they have not been sent out yet.

Life has been a little... complex for the past month. I haven't gotten the comments out and we've not finalized the shirts and had them sent out. I will post on here when that is accomplished. I'll be talking to Bruce, Karl, and Joe this weekend and get that all straightened out.

Take your time with it, and we'll all be happy to get them when we get them!

I'm very sorry. We had planned on having everything out quickly. But I've had Job Issues, and real life intrudes.

The Gofer Shirts have now been authorized. Otakon Publications will print and send them to you directly. I will let you know when they're being mailed, via this thread, and then we'll have to give a week for mailing/postal.

Thanks so much for keeping us posted. I was also getting a bit worried until I logged on here and found this thread.

I agree with Xatni as well, I'm fine with waiting so long as we know they are in fact coming. I really loved the shirts from previous years and would hate to have missed out this year.

They should be coming. I am waiting too, or my daughter (who was a gofer for the first time last year) is waiting. So I'll let you know when they arrive.

Seems there was a little MISS communication. So all of the names and sizes and addresses have been sent to the appropriate place. And we're looking at ways to fix this so we don't have the issue next year.

Was kinda hoping I'd be able to wear it for my first visit to a convention that wasn't Otakon, since I'm heading to Katsucon this weekend, but that's alright~ I'm glad to hear that things finally seem to have gotten resolved!
