I'm a little concerned about this, as there may be a number of people requesting a panel about either Homestruck or My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, two titles that (unless there's a panel about MLP's fandom in Japan) don't fit with the main themes of Otakon (although I do admit that My Little Pony is a fun show).

Popularity will never be the lone deciding factor in why we select a panel. While a panel's relevance to our mission will always factor heavily in our selection process. This poll is just another way for us to gauge our members interests and take that feedback into account as we make our selections.

As long as we don't make repeat genre selections/requests, is it okay to fill out the form more than once?

....'cause I kinda did it twice... Posted Image

Submitted two ideas for panels at Otakon '13. Wish me luck!

Yes, that's fine.

IP Freely on Mickey Mouse. A panel concerning Mickey Mouses' musings as presented by IP Freely. What were you thinking? :P

Seriously though, thanks for giving us a chance with the all powerful text box.

Fixed! You can just write in the missing genre in the open input field.

Thanks for the input.

I like to see more interesting 18+ late night panels that will have me laughing...or more panels with audience participation. funny panels centered around hentai are always funny.

I know the submissions form has been closed out already, but at Anime Central there was this awesome panel that I hope gets approved for Otakon. Anime Name That Tune! ACen's was great (totally made up for the sorry excuse of a panel at Anime Boston two weeks earlier). So much fun. Given I listen to anime and Jpop music -A LOT- it'd be fun to see others' knowledge on it all. BTW, to clear up any confusion before any arises, I'm not really (in fact not at all) bragging that I know --EVERY SINGLE JPOP-style tune out there, whether it's been featured in an anime or not, but I'm pretty good, and it's always fun to see some competition, as with what went down during the ACen Name That Anime Tune panel. :) Just thought I'd drop off that idea for this panel.
