  1. I still have all my badges (1994 - 2019). I'm tempted to print and laminate the 2020 Otakon's Online badges and add it to the collection.

  2. I used to just go home when Otakon was over in the early days. Once it came to Baltimore I started to stay an extra night (until Monday), just to hang around there with some friends or by myself. I would head over there to eat and do some last minute shopping right after the Con's Feedback panel, then I settle in my room for the rest of the night. Then I would head over there again the next morning to get something to eat and meet up with people from the con who were still around before I drive back home to New York.

  3. I was going to be Nana Shimura this year so I'm just saving the cosplay for 2021. But I might be tempted to go as a plague doctor too...

  4. For the record, this is the T-shirt in question: As I've said before on this forum, it's my favorite shirt I never wear.

  5. I have all the shirts, though some are retired due to age and/or condition. (My 2017 shirt for some reason has a bunch of small holes in it, and I know I didn't get acid on it at work.) I still have the old Otakon shoulder(?) bag. Though mine is unique because the zipper on it is upside down. I also have several of the early pins (One of the earliest ones - the one w/ the bunny girl that reminds me of the Daicon IV opening, is darker than I originally recall. Whether that's 'patina', age, or just how it originally looked I can't recall.), and the 3 postcards they put out when Otakon had

  6. I think it would be pretty fun to have "throwback shirts." Might be worth someone doing the legwork to research. *stares at self in mirror*

  7. What a shame that such a talented actor should be such a complete failure as a human being.

  9. Gave most of my Otakon shirts away, but kept a few for sentimental value. 1994, 1995, the long sleeve black one (my all time favorite), blue denim shirt, and a few of the recent ones. Used to buy one every year, gave them to someone who would wear them.

  10. I've embarked on a serious nostalgia trip this past week and am trying to find more information regarding Otakon before I started attending in 2003 - specifically I was interested in reviewing the programming/schedule line-ups (panels & workshops). I still have hard copies of the programs/schedules from 2003 on, and thought that someone must have scanned/documented this info on an ancient website... but have had no luck scouring the internet, other than being able to pull up an Internet Archive of the 2002 schedule: https://web.archive.org/web/20020802062613/http://www.otakon.com/schedule.
