  1. I don't even have to tell everyone how long that pre-reg pickup line is, and without a doubt we'll have some huge guests this year, Mr. Kappei being one of them, and JAMproject is bound to have a monstrous turnout, so I have to ask you, my crazy yet patient otaku. Since lines are bound to be abundant and lenghty, what do you do to pass the time?
  2. I have 4 other friends doing Team Fortress 2 cosplays with me.. it's gonna be so EPIC If you see a red Pyro, girl-Scout, Engineer, girl-Medic and Soldier walking around, it's us. Other than that, my girlfriend is a VK freak so we're doing Kaname & Yuuki. And I posted it here before but I'm also doing Chad from Bleach. That's gonna be my big one since I look pretty much JUST like him, minus the cuban tan. ><;
  3. I drive my new moped everywhere. Gets 100 mpg and costs about $5 to fill up, and I fill it up about 3 times a week. Goes a steady 40mph, and it gets me places. If I ever want to travel, I take Greyhound. And we're building a pool in our backyard this season.
  4. I'm surprised no one's mentioned.. SLEEP Oh wait, Meredith did. ><; Um.. one thing I forgot last year was a sewing kit. You never know when you'll have those cosplay emergencies.
  5. Someone at Katsucon played a mix of You Spin Me Right Round.. as far as breaking the monotony of trance/techno, hearing some classics set to bass beats or a complete remix of said classics would work quite well in my opinion. Anywho, that;s up to the DJ, and I digress. My main concern is visual effects. Perhaps not leave it to the DJ? He/she's got enough on his plate by trying to read the crowd and such. If at all possible, try looking for a skilled video jockey to work with the DJ. And is there any chance we can get more tiles this year? Dancing on carpet sucks ;~; A couple more dec
  6. A bottle for water, something healthy to snack on, lots of money for the DR and Alley, a few mangas to read in the downtime, and a walkie since cellphones are next to useless inside the BCC. And plenty of SD memory for my camera. ^^
  7. The game's had lot of time to circulate and become known, so I'm hoping to see more TF2 cosplay at Otakon. I'm quite excited. I wanna see a good Pyro or two. Maybe some good Engineer stuff too. I'd die to see a well-done sentry gun.. My friend's doing the Scout and the Engineer (both red), his lady friend is going as the red Medic, and I myself will be doing the Soldier (color undecided). I'm just about done with my rocket launcher, just looking for a really huge funnel-type thing to stick on the end of it. Any other Team Fortress 2 cosplayers out there coming this year?
  8. Good stuff, very top notch.
  9. I want tons of buttons, but that's something for the Artist's Alley.
  10. I can see it now.. an Otakon spot on Adult Swim's Saturday night anime block.. that would be nothing short of absolutely epic.
  11. Yep, Fathom does a lot of cool stuff. They're showing Bleach: Memories of Nobody on the 11th and 12th of June in select theatres. Tickets went on sale on the 9th, I believe. But yes, I'll have to fork over the 10 smackers to see Death Note on the big screen. Here's to hoping the english dubbing is half decent.. Oh, and as far as location goes, they're showing our screening at one of the highly-acclaimed IMAX theatres about 10 miles from where i live. Of course, not on the IMAX screen, sadly. T-T
  12. Death Note comes on at 1:00 AM but it's still got phenomenal ratings. All depends on how bad you wanna see the show.
  13. I've been hearing that Madhouse is helping out with an Otakon intro this year. Just wondering if what I've been hearing is true. This could be quite FRIGGIN'AWESOME interesting. :]
  14. Portal Companion Cubes. The ones that don't cost $200.
  15. Y'know I kinda wanna do an Aizen now... just to add to the mass of Aizens already going.
