Finally, just maybe, a Philadelphia sports team can successfully bring a championship to the City of Brotherly Love for the first time in many years! I was but 4 years old when the Phillies took it in 1980, so I hope they can do it now to erase the bad memories of 1993... Anyhow, to all my fellow Phillies Phans (I know you're out there!).. you gotta believe! 4 wins to go... as of this writing, the AL team is still undecided... if the Red Sox can make the miracle comeback I hope for (only because they might be an easier opponent for my Phihtin' Phills...), great. Hard Boiled The Killer (NOT Ichi the Killer, but rather John Woo's The Killer w/ Chow Yun-Fat) Battle Royale (if not in 35mm, then maybe in a screening room) 5cm per Second and, since a 35mm print ought to be available, as the piece is getting a limited theatrical run thanks to Bandai (license announced at NY Anime Festival): The Girl Who Leapt Through Time.

How did you get there/how are you getting there next year?

As since 2001, Greyhound all the way from here (Easton, PA) to Baltimore & back... not bad, one transfer in each direction (transfer in Philly going down Thursday morning, Harrisburg coming back Sunday night... though last 2 years the bus from Harrisburg has been delayed at least an hour from leaving H-burg to head back home, making my arrival at home around 8:30 instead of 7:15/7:30). Round trip for me is generally less than $100, and I don't have to drive or find and pay for parking, so it's all good. -
I just booked yesterday at the Raddison Lord Baltimore, and they mentioned that when I arrive, I need to bring my "event invitation" for Otakon (I guess to prove I am attending and deserve the con rate). Can the Otakorp Hotel Liason inform them that our convention ISN'T by invitation, and that if they DO require proof of attending the convention, they should request people bring a printout of their convention registration reciept if they are pre-reg'ed, and some other suitable proof they are attending the con if they are not pre-reg'ed. I'm not 100% sure what they were talking about

Not to take this thread OT, but what about the Holiday Inn Inner Harbor? Do you have a block there? How much/night? When do they begin accepting reservations?
