In exactly 1 month, we will be getting everything ready for our drive down to Baltimore. Where does the time go?

So....this is the most nervewracking Otakon wait ever. Lack of guests announcements, and stressful year/summer leads to less time for costumes. Stupid college. Can you believe there's practically a MONTH left? Good stuff.

It's great to see all these Pokemon Gijinka!! I guess I'm excited, because this is my first one

Surprisingly enough, my cosplay schedule has changed!! This year I'm going to (with my sister) do: Kuronue (with a Yoko Kurama) - Yu Yu Hakusho Raichu (with a Pokemon Trainer) - Pokemon Hideo Kuze (with a Major Kusanagi) - GitS:SAC 2nd GiG I don't know when I'm doing them though. I guess I just have to figure what times certain things are (e.g. M.E. McGlynn's autograph session!)

Another obscure cosplay! Of course My sister's gonna go as Major Kusanagi, so I'm going as Hideo Kuze. Hopefully standing next to her will help me be recognized, though.

I must say, if anyone recognizes me this year, I will give them a cookie XD Kuronue has got to be one of the minorest characters in the movie no one saw because it was no good, or if they did see it, it was so long ago and they never had any desire ot watch it again...

Considering how late in the con year it is, I'd say pretty high, unless you book though Hotwire or Priceline or something. I believe Priceline still has the Sheraton City Center for $139 a night and Hotwire has something for $84.

The only thing I'm jittery about is money, of course! Luckily, my pokemon cosplay is very simple and cheap. But that said, I think I'ma do a little selling for a bit of extra cash

Not Dynasty, but usually the SW and DW gatherings are combined anyway. I might bring my Ranmaru back this year. It depends.

I wear as many costumes as I can afford, or whatever my group is doing/what gatherings there are. But make sure if you're wearing a costume all day that you take a break. Take a nap, eat some lunch and air out your costume.

OMG, LET'S GO LINE UP!!! Sucka, I'm already here. I'm in yo line, takin' yo badges. You'll never catch me in line until at least 6pm on thursday. But I haven't pre-regged, yet. Getting there, though.

Gotcha. Did Otakon use the Arena in '07? I don't remember it being a thing back then, but my memory could just be bad. I know just having early pre=reg is a perk in itself, but is there gonna be anything special for people who pre-reg early? I'm just curious, 'cause if there isn't, I'm not gonna pre-reg tonight....just bought 2 wigs.

Oh, I seeee it. I have to wait til I get home anyway, 'cause I don't remember my ID# or password offhand. But hey, it's still before tomorrow! Is Otakon ever gonna put an attendance cap back on, or is it always just gonna be open til near the con date?

Whoa, I'm totally not seeing anything for pre-reg. I'm hoping it's just 'cause I'm using a school computer. I'll check it again when I get home....tonight...after drumline... Curse these long nights!! I can't wait til 9:30!!
