This year I'll be spending my Otakon with my boyfriend. I'm really looking forward to it especially after we spent Ota'07 together. I'll also be hanging out with my inner circle as always. They tend to make the weekend more fun.

I've never actually gone to a con looking for love, but love has taken me to a con... The only two guys that I've dated seriously have been into the con scene. The first one took me to my first Otakon, and that got me more into anime and stuff, and that's what brought me together with my circle of friends now, and from there I met the guy that I'm dating now. This coming Otakon will be our second one together... wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think my favs would have to be K'nex, Erector sets, Legos and other building blocks, Hot wheels, G.I. Joe, N64, Gameboy, and most NERF stuff... Growing up as one of three girls in my family I was given lots of Barbie stuff. They finally realized that I really wasn't into the whole doll thing, but still gave me the houses, cars, the motor home, and other random things that came with her so I'd have something that my sisters would want to play with. I still have some of my fav toys at home, and sometimes like to mess around with them a little. Helps me hang on to those stress- free y

I'll come in Thursday afternoon around check- in time for the hotel, and get everything taken care of through the course of the evening. Most of the night is for hanging out with the people that I don't really get to see anymore and for getting too excited to even think about sleeping. I'm sure I'll go to sleep late again, but since it's already the norm I'll be up early everyday, though not really moving around 'til the normal hours when everyone else is up.

If I get that internship I'm aiming for, then I'll be working in B-more. That cuts travel time down to a matter of minutes on Thursday. I'm hoping to be able to do some extra hours during the beginning of the week to make up for me wanting to get off early that day as well as for missing Friday. Might even start all that the week before... I'll get picked up by my boyfriend and head to the hotel. We'll get settled in, take in the awesome view from our hotel room, get our badges at some point, and go out to dinner when everyone is there and ready. I'm sure we'll hang out and be all giddy t

I defiantly feel bummed. PCB is the worst. This time around I hope to be able to start planning trips to other cons to make leaving this one a little easier. If nothing else maybe random trips during the year will make things better, even though I have to admit that having this be one of the only things I look forward to during the year makes it seem better when the time finally comes. I'm sure I'd prefer to do other things though...

I mostly look forward to being with all the people that I don't ever see otherwise. I like being able to walk around in my little outfits and not come across as "that weird chick".
