Late fall 2001, Penn State, someone mentioned Otakon at a PSAO officer's meeting and that got my curiosity going. Then I saw "This is Otakudom" and my fate was sealed so I first came in 2002 and had a blast watching MAT3k and dancing like a maniac at otakurave .

If I can I am so going to this. Voltron was one of the greatest shows of all time. I still remember having recess long arguments in elementary school on why they shouldn't have replaced Sven with Allura.
