I work every year in the Artist Alley at various cons. Sometimes I'll get nightmares about not having any stuff ready in time for the con.

Aside from what I've already budgeted for food, shelter, and emergency, I plan on spending $50-$60 in the Dealer's Room and Artist's Alley.

Yeah, I'm a little worried about BoA's debut in America. She's not a bad singer, but I just don't think she'll be able to make it in the US market. Jay luckily has a best album, so I would start with that. It's from a few years back, so nothing recent on it, but it has my favorite song on it, "Qilixiang" (Silk Jasmine). I could listen to this song all day. Jay plays many instruments (piano, cello, guitar, shamisen, violin, drums) and raps as well as sings ballads. There are few singers in Asia who are this versatile.

I'd love to see more live action films or Asian dramas!

This is definitely NOT the case in Japan. In Japan, there definitely is punishment for scandals. Agencies are constantly kicking out artists for scandals. As soon as someone is busted for drugs, they need to be taken out of a group in order to regain the trust of the public. L'arc en Ciel even kicked out their original drummer for his drug scandal. Two members were kicked out of NewS for underaged drinking. Psycho Le Cemu broke up due to their vocal's arrest. In Japan, scandal usually means a HUGE drop in sales.
