Showing the first few episodes of some manga related J-dramas (Rookies, Hana Kimi, Hana Yori Dango, Kisarazu Cat's Eye) would be cool. Maybe even Akihabara@DEEP. I don't know if this is possible but showings of musicals based on manga would also be awesome (Prince of Tennis, Bleach, Sailor Moon, the upcoming Saiyuki Musical).

I kinda want to do Oofuri cosplay there.

I am so excited for the marathons ( I'm a crazy XC girl ).

The only panel I missed was the J-drama panel and I'm kinda bummed about that. So was there anyone who went to it and how was it?

I got way too much Prince of Tennis stuff. -random stuff from a tenipuri grab bag -10.5 databook -postcards from the live action movie -a few of the english volumes -a shonen jump volume with the Ryoma vs Yukimura match -Fuji plush also: -3 volumes of Eyeshield 21 -Kaze Hikaru volume 10 -Hana Kimi and tsubasa (both of which I can't read) -Dogs Bullets and Carnage (I regret not getting the Eyeshield 21 artbook and prince of tennis 30.5)

The weather was great (I expected it to be a lot worse).

I'll probably go as Lal Mirch if I can finish the costume.

I need to finish my Lal Mirch costume and try to not spend money on useless stuff.

My parents won't be attending Otakon with me but I'm pretty sure they are the reason I watch anime and other related things. My mom used to watch the mandarin dubbed version of Astro Boy and when I was a kid, she introduced me to that show along with other shows. My parents also watch a lot of C-dramas, J-dramas, and K-Dramas and now I have started watching them (Hana Kimi, Kurosagi, Kisarazu Cat's Eye). My brother who is 4, often watches Crayon Shin-chan (which is not quite appropriate for him )

Is there a time linit on how long the song can be? (My friend and I want to attempt the Nico Nico Douga Medley). I was also thinking of doing Seishun Amigo by Shuji to Akira, Peach by Ai Otsuka, and maybe a song from the Prince of Tennis musicals (maybe "You Are the Prince of Tennis" or "Koori no Emperor")

I'm going with one of my best friends. We usually flail over the same things so it will be a lot of fun.

Since I have grabby Tenipuri hands, I'll probably buy anything that has to do with the musicals, the 40.5 fanbook, and some doujins. (a Hyoutei or a Rikkai uniform would be nice too).

I will probably Be singing songs from the Prince of Tennis musicals to annoy my friend who doesn't understand the point of having a musical about tennis. Maybe a little Seishun Amigo on the side? And of course, we can't forget the nico nico douga medley, the Haruhi dance, and caramelldansen. I'll probably bring my sketchbook along for good measure. (I'm so excited!)
