Last year was my first year at Otakon. My parents, my friend, and I were standing in line in the rain (without umbrellas or anything to protect ourselves. Thank goodness it wasn't raining hard) and the line wrapped around half of the Baltimore Convention Center. Luckily, we didn't wait as long as I thought we would. I saw people cosplaying to pick up their pre-registration badges. I didn't know why they were doing it because the site specifically said that there would be no Otakon activities on Thursday.

Okay, apparently as long as I can go in the group, it'll just be my boyfriend and I.

Since a drive to Otakon where I am is about 30 minutes (give or take a few minutes and not including any traffic jams), it's not a far drive. I suggest any upbeat Japanese song would be a good song for the road trip.

I wasn't able to attend a fan panel last year because of the day I went, but I suggest having it focus on a certain anime or manga. An anime panel that is popular (like One Piece) would work best. I would suggest the manga Fairy Tail, but I don't know how many people know about that.

If my mom allows me to be in a different group than last year, I'll be with A guy who might become my boyfriend My Japanese penpal who lives in New York My penpal's older sister Possibly a girl who now lives in Canada.

I'm going to be cosplaying as Yoruichi from the anime Bleach (when Yoruichi is wearing orange and black).
