Dragon Girl

One or two of my friends from college (not yet sure on one of them) and my little brother. Usually I go with my uncle and cousins, but I'm doing my own group this year because our schedules are so different. (And then I can actually stay close to the con- they always get hotels outside of the area that we have to drive back to.) The best part is that this year the Saturday of Otakon falls on my brother's birthday. He's really looking forward to it.

Looks like it's mainly about the American cosplay. When I have a little time on later tonight I'll start translating it if you'd like.

I wasn't at Otakon this year, but it was my little brother's first con. I'd like to thank whoever picked up his cellphone outside the BCC on Thursday night and gave a call to my house to let us know that they were turning it into the Lost and Found. He got his cellphone back on Friday morning and had a blast at the con. Thank you so much, as I know he would have been a mess if he had lost his phone for good!

Will this be uploaded somewhere on the site after the con? I couldn't make it to Otakon this year, but I still want to see the animation!

Now after actually seeing all the prices... I won't be staying the harbor again. I'm still going to do my group, but I think we're bringing two cars anyway, so making sure people get back and forth from the hotels won't be a big deal, plus I'd have to park in town anyway. I've stayed 20 minutes outside of the area the last four years, and I think I'm gonna have to do it again. ^^; (*sigh* The life of a cheap college student.)

Thanks for all the info. Final quick question: about how much did a double room cost this past year? I just want to get an idea of how much I'm in for from Thursday to Sunday.

I heard from my cousin who was at the Con Feedback session that the Days Inn will start taking reservations August 15th for next year. Is this info correct or can anyone give me any more info on hotels for next year? Thank you!
