I would love to see Man with a Mission (musical guest) but if I'm being realistic, I don't know how easy it will be bring overseas guests this year. Maybe it would be safer to just have domestic guests this year?

I'm hoping that America gets better at vaccinating more people per day so that it's safe to go to Otakon in August. I wonder if they could push it back to Sept or Oct?

There is a new email today saying they are asking for $250,000 for this year. I want to see the breakdown before I give. Otakon is an amazing con where I have made so many friends over the last 10 years. (Every Otakon since 2010). If there were to be no Otakon in the future I would be heartbroken. Let's hope we can go to Otakon in the future.

It just isn't "waiting for Otakon" season without usual "Guess the Musical Act" contests. I agree, how could it be 'waiting for Otakon' if we didn't get stumped every year by the Guess the Musical Act facts from artist we already know! XD Seriously, I think that last year was the only year that I didn't know the artist and yet I think that I've gotten them wrong all but once. lol

I can't wait to see who else might be coming! Do you know or can you give a good time frame for when the first artist(s) will be announced ?
