So I talked to someone and now I'm having a new problem. I need to prove that USPS lost my badge, which is difficult since the tracking thing says it got delivered. Even though it didn't and I can't reach anyone at USPS. And if I don't get in contact with someone at USPS, I have to buy a new badge at full price.

Go to your local Post Office and ask them about it. You may need to speak with the Delivery Supervisor. The local Post Office gave me the phone number for the Supervisor when I asked about stopping mail for the previous resident coming to my mailbox. Good luck! :)

  2. I have the Tenth Anniversary blue jean shirt, and the black hoodie with the gold printing on back. Also have the long sleeve black shirt, along with the official 1994 and 1995 shirts. Maybe kept one or two more con shirts, and gave the rest of my spare con shirts to Revan.

I still want an Otakon Flippy Flyer Frisbee with the Post Card image of Hiroshi-kun and Hiroko-chan in festival dress.

The USPS is one of the slowest delivery places to update their data. I honestly think they scan for a whole day, upload the batch at the end. From my experience, it is not uncommon for updates to take forever. They lost a package for me once. I called the vendor and USPS to say I never received it. The vendor sent me a new one. After it arrived, the Post Office called to say they found the original packaged and were sending it to me. I had to get them to list it as "refused shipment" to get the first package back to the vendor. That package had been to more states that I have. dry.png

  4. ^I highly agree to that!! Seems to me they didn't think this all through despite the 3 months they had to get their stuff all together thus making sure everything would go as planned. They need better communication with their costumers.

Yeah I agree. It would make sense for them to post it saying that it would be updated rather than having people try to spill the word for them. It's their job to keep in touch with their costumes on these matters...but yeah I agree

  5. Someone I know has complained a few times about videos in the "Drama" category going for laughs. They feel that the one with the laughs over-shadows the ones that went for straight drama, and usually wins the category.

Side story: I forget which Otakon it was, but there was a video made with clips from Grave of the Fireflies to the song Love Will Keep Us Alive by the Eagles. Needless to say, when the video was over, there was nary a dry eye in the house, because it was so sad.(extremely well made too) Then out of the stunned slience someone yells "THE NEXT VIDEO BETTER BE F&CKING HILARIOUS!" and the whole place erupted in laughter. Don't think I will ever forget that one.
