  1. Wow.... This is really sad, I guess a big part of it was that they got most of their business from us congoers, and that was once a year... hmm... *J/k* but man, they were a great place to go get inexpensive sushi, that's really disheartening...Thanks MC for the correction in the other forum, gah, need to check around a bit before making myself look like a huge ditz....
  2. I'm being pulled into Time Skip Hinata again... I was her at AMA... There's gonna be a bit of a Time Skip Group from what I'm awareof, yey for her contacts for 20 bucks at a local wig shop!!

  6. One thing you can do, if you don't know how to sew, you can go out to goodwill or a salvation army and modify clothing.
  7. I absolutely love to sew, and I love to make patterns and figure out the mathematical ways to use a fabric that is too short width wide but not length wide to figure out how to make a drape for a miroku costume sans pattern 2 to 3 days prior to the convention!!....(Okay okay, so maybe not SOOOOO much the last part, but you get the gist.) I find sewing as a very rewarding experience where I learn new ways to do things. which is the reason I've got a good amount of projects going on as we speak... This time around I'm teaching myself how to do appliques... a friend designed a dress that req

  9. One thing to do is if you know of a good cloth freshner that you enjoy the scent of and you don't over use it! This is actually a secret used to keep Professional Theatrical Costumes Fairly Clean without the Wear of Washing them. The costumes themselves actually end up lasting longer. But what you do is turn the outfit inside out and use a LITTLE bit of Febreeze or other odor deterrent for cloth specifically (and I am keying in on LITTLE bit because we all know you don't wanna smell like the bottle of the stuff, it's like the AXE rule!), let it sit over night and voila a little bit
  10. Last year we had approxiamately 5-7 people including myself, for food stuffs, unless someone would rather eat somewhere that's a sit down, we usually just eat at the food court in the inner harbor mall. For those who like sushi or Thai noodles they have those, and then for those who just want pizza or chicken, you have that too. As for the "normies" as they are seemingly affectionately called, they sometimes will ask us questions, but all in all they tend to just be like... "Oh it's that anime thing again" and go on their merry way. If one of them approaches you and asks you what you're t

  14. It's that time again, to get reared up and ready for Otakon On Thursday, the day before the convention, last year and the past few years I've held Photo/Dinner Gatherings. These gatherings usually consist of a bunch of One Piece or Pirately dressed Mates getting together, after getting their badges if they preredged, and going to the inner harbour for Food and Photos with the cannons and anchors and such. here are some photos from past dinners Pirate Dinner Photos of Past The dinner usually happens after the Photos so that there is enough lighting to get great photos! Hope Y
  15. Metropolis made me cry a bit, because of the story of a young boy trying to protect something and someone special to him, Trigun, Nicholas D. Wolfwood, I love Milli and Nicholas to death and then, it just happened, man it was soo sad also Ah Megamisama or Oh My Goddess the movie, it was pretty sad when belldandy lost her memory As well as Cowboy Bebop, the one episode where they all die from that wild living bacteria from the lobster, and the one, where everyone parts from one another and spike looks like he dies
