Otakon 2019: The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly

I am going to start by saying this was the best Otakon I have been to in Washington, I had a lot of fun, and after last year's con being borderline bad, it was a lot better this year. The Good You fixed the autograph line, this was the best autographs Otakon has ever done, I want to heap praise on the autograph staff and the way you had it set up. I would prefer it out of the Dealers Room so you could have autographs more than 8 hours a day, but otherwise it was great. The Guest List: A bunch of guest who don't go to a lot of cons in the area, and Japanese guest. Y -
Now that is interesting, their is only one thing they work on together, oh might you be getting a dub premier?

There is a not-too-secret short list of guests that, should the option appear, I am authorized to pursue with maximum effort. I refer to them as "Holy SH**" guests. The list includes (but isn't limited to): Hayao Miyazaki Rumiko Takahashi Megumi Hayashibara Leiji Matsumoto So no worries -- if the opportunity happens, there will be no hesitation about snapping one of them up. In fact that list is shorter than it used to be... because we've snagged a few over the years. Let's see, Shinkai, Watanabe, Kanno, Jam Project?

You do know that Otakon is an ANIME convention, right? What do those people have to do with it? Does the things they do benefit the medium of anime in anyway? Why would anime cons like Otakon want to bring in people like them, when they have NOTHING to do with anime at all? Oh god here we go.... The noh and kabuki actors might be cool though
