Virtual Dub isn't that robust of an editing tool, but it is great for processing footage, esp if coupled with tools like AVI Synth. I've always used a student copy of Premiere, so... I can't comment on anything free.

Did Char's Counterattack get shown ever? I know in 2002 it was on the programming guide, I don't recall seeing it since... I did miss 2003 and 2007 though so.
