I'm sorry to say I haven't had a chance to check it out; however, you're really the only person posting in this forum at the moment. We tend to discourage thread-bumping and double-posting here (more information is available in the BBS Guidelines), but you've very thoughtfully provided links to your comic in a few different places, so I'm sure that folks who might be interested will be able to find their way.

While we understand that you're excited about your webcomic, please don't double-post. Thank you!
  3. I don't use wigs often, so I'm not too familiar with the process, but some wigmakers will accept commissions to create a custom wig for you.
  4. If you're going to spend so much on it in the first place, why not simply commission a wig-maker to make one for your character, rather than commissioning the wrong character and DIYing it?
  5. Do you remember where in the alley the artist was sitting, or how their table was decorated, or anything?
  6. 3:30am, 2500+ words. I'm having a blast.
  7. I'll probably list some repeats, so bear with me. This isn't necessarily a list of My Favorite Anime, although many of my favorites are on this list. Instead, it's a list of anime that I feel would make a nice survey for an Art History course. - Sailor Moon - Tenchi Muyo! and Tenchi Universe (and the first movie, Tenchi Muyo in Love!) - Dragonball - Ranma 1/2 - Urusei Yatsura - Ah! My Goddess - Evangelion, End of Evangelion, etc - Akira - Astro Boy - Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust - Cardcaptor Sakura - Gundam Wing, Gundam Seed, etc - Macross and Macross Plus - Cow
  8. Funimation has its own channel already. They show some cool stuff (I caught Slayers one time, eee). I wish Cartoon Network showed a wider variety of cartoons. There are more cartoons than whatever's popular right this moment; if you're going to call yourself the "cartoon network," your line-up should be more inclusive of other cartoons. Show anime, sure - but show some of the fabulous stuff coming out of France these days, the wacky and moving Korean stuff, the underground American animations. Show classics like Chuck Jones and Tex Avery and Hanna Barbera - at a time that people are a
  9. Although, it's possible that the free downtown shuttle bus will be up and running by then (and it'll be brand-new if it is), so you'd be able to avoid Mt Royal Ave and hitch a ride on the bus from Penn Station. ...In theory.
  10. Dakota Fanning might be a cute Ed, but I don't know that she's acrobatic/agile enough. Rachel Weisz could be an okay Faye (the girl from the first two The Mummy movies. And I agree, Bale would be a MUCH better Spike than Keanu Reeves.
  11. Bale is too pretty - Robert Downey Jr. would be interesting.
  12. Er, sorry? Our mission statement is about east Asian pop culture, and we try to incorporate that into our programming. Although I'm sure many of our members are looking forward to the new Harry Potter movie (I am, too), it simply doesn't make sense for us to budget the necessary human, monetary, and spatial resources for something that's not Asian in any way, shape, or form, when we could instead put that money, those people, and that room to use for things that are directly relevant to Asian culture. Just because it's not technically the con yet doesn't mean that official Thursday nigh
  13. To be honest, my initial thought on reading your title was, "A book cannon would be epic." However, banishing the forces of literary evil is pretty epic in its own right.
  14. The deadline will be announced when it's ready.
  15. I spent about $100 more than I'd budgeted (ohhhh you cels are tricksy), but my bank account will recover. I guess budgeting is just something you learn? Although if overspending is a perennial problem for you, try bringing only cash, and no cards at all. That way, when you're out - you're out.
  16. I'll be there! I'm hooooping to have my Aeris cosplay finished, but it's looking like a dim prospect at the moment, so I'll probably just be... well, not dressed up. LOL
  17. I'm sick of reading (in gmail, on NBC's Olympics website, wherever) about results that NBC hasn't gotten around to televising yet. Sure, the internet has everything - but for NBC to post a huge photo and headline with the women's balance beam results on their Olympics-specific page? Before their coverage of the event? AUGH. SPOILERS.
  18. I bought a grab bag in 2004; got a pack of Berserk trading cards, some FMA pencil erasers, a DBZ cell phone charm; an untranslated Angel Sanctuary manga, and two books that looked suspiciously like Japanese phone books. Oh, and a Gatchaman... something? I dunno. I kept the DBZ charm and the erasers, and I think the manga is still around somewhere - but as you can probably guess, I wasn't particularly interested in most of the contents.
  19. Fuji TV and various other Japanese media outlets were in attendance, at least Friday afternoon, primarily to cover the Kano Sisters' appearance.
  20. Hopefully I'll be able to get a hoodie from this year, the art was so pretty. I'm also thinking about a long-ear!hat, but we'll see.
  21. Workshops are separate from panels, so I can't speak as to how that department will handle things. If you're concerned, you could send an email to workshops, though.
  22. The Science Center's IMAX typically only shows educational movies, with a rare exception for G-rated releases (I saw the Lion King's re-release there several years ago). Don't plan on it getting a copy of HP.
