  1. Since the "Otakon 2018: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly" forum mentioned that Otakon 2019 will be the 25th Anniversary, in the words of Otakon Staffer kimmibeans: "Otakon 25 promotion: We didn't promote the 25th Otakon as much this year because we were waiting for our 25th Anniversary, which is next year. That's why the theme is Festival! We also mentioned that it was Otakon 25 at Opening Ceremonies."' I figure it might be good to think about some stuff we'd like to see for the special occasion next year. Here are some of my ideas: 1. Since the "Dragonball" area was such a big hit, maybe the con can have some more areas dedicated to more anime franchises ("Sailor Moon", "Cardcaptor Sakura"), anime studios (Madhouse, Gainax, Studio Ghibli, etc.), or anything related to the culture. I understand if this would be really expensive though. 2. Have another big orchestra like "The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses". Or even a crossover between composers. One of my picks would be Suzumu Hirasawa vs. Yuki Kajiura since both of their styles are recognizable and might somehow blend well together. 3. Team up with an anime studio to make another Otakon anime. (Like in 2008-2010.) Only have this anime either be a half-hour special or a mini-series of mini-episodes. Bonus points if you can have that anime voiced by some well-known talent from all over California, Texas, and/or New York. Even more bonus points if it can be made available for purchase at the Otakon Merchandise booth at the Dealer's Room after it airs in the Opening Ceremonies. I'd try to buy if the price were reasonable enough. 4. Do some sort of crossover with another big anime con. Like Anime Expo or Anime Central. 5. Have a Voice Acting studio do panels or auditions. If not any of the big ones like Bang Zoom!, Funimation, or Sentai Filmworks, then maybe one of the smaller ones like Kocha Sound or Sound Cadence. I understand if some (if not all) of these are hard or even impossible to do. But they're just suggestions of stuff that I'd like to see for the con's 25th Anniversary. I'd also suggest an official Otakon game. Except, well, the last time that happened, it didn't really work out. What do you guys think? Do you have any more suggestions for the special event next year?

    Guest Request: 2015

For next year's Otakon (2015), there are a few people I would like to see be invited. To all of the Otakon staff, these are the following people, and groups that I would STRONGLY CONSIDER inviting for next year: Dub Voice Actor: - Bryce Papenbrook - Cherami Leigh - Todd Haberkorn - Cassandra Lee Morris - Josh Grelle - Alexis Tipton - Kirk Thorton - Mary Elizabeth McGlynn - Jamie Marchi - Monica Rial - Caitlin Glass - Stephanie Young - Brittney Karbowski - Matthew Mercer Music Acts: - Linked Horizon - Kalafina The names that I typed in bold are the ones who I most would want to see be invited next year, and would STRONGLY CONSIDER bringing in. Caitlin Glass, and Monica Rial especially. Those 2 ladies haven't been there in YEARS!
