Costume Ideas?

Hiya! This year's Otakon is going to be my first ever convention (yay!!) and my first time to cosplay. I am at a loss for what I want to be though. I'm about 5'6 with highlited hair, green eyes, and a curvy figure. I wouldn't be able to dye my hair, but I might could come up with a wig. What characters would you suggest for a newbie with a budget of $100 or so? Thanks for your help!

for $100, you might want to do a closet cosplay.they're cheap. also, a photo would help. or is you want tons of input, there's a "who do i like like" thread at cosplay.com

Also, what kind of shows do you like? It's the most fun to dress as a character you really like or identify with.

You might want to grab some random thing and put them togather. My 1st costume was done that way it came out good

I just advise you to do something you love! My first cosplay was Kid from Chrono Cross (last year) and it was under $100. I made most of it myself, which helps to lower prices.

Just think about characters you like that you kinda look like and go from there!
