odd question to artist and dealers

i was just curious if any of the artist or dealers who couldent get a table still bring stuff down and sale them as asked from there cars or rooms? all so just curious if any of the dealers or artist have sold some of there merchandise after hours in some of there down time.

No.

The con's official position has always been that what's illegal outside the con is illegal inside the con. Selling from your car or hotel room would be a violation of city regulations (in the case of your car -- you'd need a street vendor license) or your room agreement (in the case of the hotel). The same is true of any sales you might do in other areas of the convention center -- it is a breach of our contract with the BCC to do sales in places that we haven't cleared for it.

To clarify, selling out of your car without the appropriate permits is against the law. Selling out of your hotel room without prior arrangement with the hotel violates your rental agreement and can easily result in you being evicted.
