Slippers permitted?

I've altered my boot-slippers to be red boots. Can I wear slippers in the convention center? And, on that topic, how clean's the floor?

As long as your slippers have a hard plastic sole (and aren't just fabric on the bottom), you should be okay. Shoes are required throughout the BCC, to protect your feet from injury and from dirt/debris on the ground.
