Ryhned 0
I just wanted to let all the cosplayers know about the Otakon Photosuite for 2008. For those of you who don't know about the photosuite, it's a place at Otakon where you can get a professional studio picture of you in costume taken, and you can submit your image to the Otakorp archives for inclusion in future publications (for free) or you can buy 4x6 or 8x10 prints of your favorite pictures to take home with you. This year we've moved from the 4th flr VIP east room all the way across the convention to rooms 304 & 305, just up the escalator from Charles Street Lobby and across the hallway from the Otacafe. This move means we'll have a lot more room! There will be 3 backdrops, and even one large enough for medium-sized groups (up to about 8 people). All of our photographers are professionals, and not just some average joe with a DSLR in his hands. Prints this year will be $6 for a 4x6 and $12 for an 8x10 including tax (no obligation to buy, no sitting fees). Approximate hours of operation (check the pocket program guide for exact hours): Friday and Saturday 10-7 Sunday 10-12 Prints are typically available for pickup 4 hours after your shoot. We will also be open from Sunday from noon-2 for photo pickup only. We do not ship photos unless you make arrangements during the convention. Also - this year, if you really like your photographer, feel free to ask them about scheduling a personal photo shoot. Many of our photographers will be scheduling private shoots for the weekend (Private photo shoots will be on-location outside of the PhotoSuite and are not Otakon-sponsored and packages/rates will vary). Here are links to some of our photographers.
