abubacar 0 Posted July 19, 2008 Report Share Posted July 19, 2008 So apparently there has been a Rock Band 2 in developement, and is set to be released on the xbox 360 September, 2008! In Addition to 84 new songs on disc (ALL MASTERTRACKS) most, if not all, of the disc songs and DLC from Rock Band will be forwards compatible with Rock Band 2. I personally cannot wait. The guitar is an actual Fender Stratocaster that has been gutted and fit with guitar hero buttons (professionally not the fan stuff). The Drums are a real set of electronic drums by Ion Audio called the Drum Rocker. I am most excited about the drums, because of the low rebounding plasticy Rock Band 1 Drums (and i mainly drum for this game). The drum set costs a heavy $299! But still, i am probably going to get it because if you plug the set into a MIDI drum module, you have a set of real playable drums. Most electronic drums cost like $500-$3000 so $300 is a good deal plus it is compatible with one of my favorite games! I am soooo pumped for this, its basically rock band 1 with a lot of changes that people were requesting. I think I'm more excited for Guitar Hero IV and their new drum set. Yeah i saw GHIV's drums. They look pretty decent for one that ships with it, but still. If you are willing to spend 300 bucks the RB2 premium set is by far the best. https://www.drumrocker.com/ if you are interested. GTIV looks like it has some cool ideas, like the create-a-song mode, but i just think its going to end up being really bad. I mean, how many versions of YYZ do i have to play here. (no vocals..)
