I mean, they just started Guardian of the Spirit and then they just stopped, and now they only show the newest Bleach and the same old reruns of FMA on Saturdays. Its called 'Cartoon Network' for a reason not live programing network. The exec's at CN have lost their minds. I just left this comment on their websites feedback spot; "You are out of your mind cancelling Toonami. If your gonna cancel something, Canel all that live acting shows. Your called CARTOON Network for a reason, so show only ANIMATED programs." I think that should make a point, heck if my email to Nintendo helped in releasing that ZOIDS game a while back maybe this might stir the pot at CN. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Last time I checked, the station's name is CARTOON Network. Cartoons are animated. So I ask you then, what the f--k is mediocre crap like Tim & Eric and Saul of the Mole Men doing on a CARTOON station? I wish Cartoon Network showed a wider variety of cartoons. There are more cartoons than whatever's popular right this moment; if you're going to call yourself the "cartoon network," your line-up should be more inclusive of other cartoons. Show anime, sure - but show some of the fabulous stuff coming out of France these days, the wacky and moving Korean stuff, the underground American animations. Show classics like Chuck Jones and Tex Avery and Hanna Barbera - at a time that people are actually watching. I don't want to have to sign up for Boomerang and Toon Disney just to see the good stuff. I have a similar problem with the Disney channel, although they occasionally show one of Disney's animated feature films, so that's good. There is so much more in the Disney library than the feature films and their pop tarts du jour (High School Musical, Hannah Montana, and the Cheetah Girls, I'm looking at you) - but you wouldn't know it, tuning into the Disney channel or walking into a Disney store. ----- And now, to get back on topic: I'm sad to see Toonami go, but for me it's been over since they cut most of the anime out of the line-up (I'm talking five, six years ago now). The golden age was the line-ups with Sailor Moon, DBZ, Gundam Wing, Batman (in any iteration), Blue Sub no. 6, and ReBoot. After that, it was all downhill. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
