Any nearby supermarkets in the convention area?

Question

Attending a con can be pretty expensive, so rather than spend -too- much money going out to eat or grabbing a bite around the convention center, I'd rather pick up food at a nearby supermarket or perhaps even a Costco/BJ's type place. Are there any within walking distance?

Also, if you're willing to spend a little dough, you could take the light rail (right next to the convention center) to the end of the line (Cromwell Station) and walk across the street. There's a Giant located directly across from there. The light rail only costs about 3.60 for a round trip ticket.

The reason I bring this up is the walking with perishable items factor- it's probably better for you and your groceries in July to be in air conditioning for as long as possible smile.gif laugh.gif The store and stop are very easy to get to and will have you walking a whole lot less out in all that heat and humidity.
