Traditionally the playlist is arranged alphabetically-by-creator, and if you approach me during the event and tell me your studio name, I'll bump your video to the top of the list. As of now we do not have sufficient time to screen everyone's entry. Creator's Badge Info Anyone who submitted a video that does not get disqualified is eligible for 3 "creator's passes". These are not Otakon memberships so you still have to buy your badge. If you're talking about the order of videos in the contest screening, they will be listed in order on your contest ballot, which will be either part of your con bag package or handed out as you enter the screening (I can't remember which). Plus, you can rip off the part of the ballot with your actual votes on it and keep the rest (viz. the full list of finalists), so that you can easily remember and look up your favorites when you get home. My hometown con did that this year for the first time, and honestly, that worked out fine. I kinda never liked how the years prior to that, we would always turn in the ballot with the names of the videos and such. Sure, we can find out the videos online later, but if you want to check and see if the anime will be playing at the con, or want to pick up a boxset, or I dunno, something while AT the con, it would be hard to remember it all.... plus, I myself have always been someone who liked physical copies of things, be it DVDs, Games, or whatever. The theme is Vampires Suck, and the sources are ALMOST locked in. Scintilla will be hosting the event. It will be from 8:30-11:30PM in panel 1, wherever that is. Is this still the right time, or does the currently posted schedule (I believe it says that it starts at 6:30) overrule? Thanks! The posted schedule is correct. It is 6:30 now. Probably one my my personal best videos too. Bleh, back to the drawing board. Either way, not a problem. This will by my first year to the con, and I got people to meet, other events to try to take part in as well, and sightseeing to do. Already scheming for the next con. Good attitude! Have a good time! It's a wonderful convention. I am sad, because this may be the first time in ten years that I won't be able to attend. Yeah. Look ahead. Nothing happens looking back on something, haha. Anywho, sucks. :S.... I am sure I will have fun though. Two people to guide me around that have went before, so this should be entertaining for me. Same, er, I didn't make it either, and this is my second time entering I think. I felt like my AMV entry was the best that I've done so far. But I guess I still have lots to learn. Heh. It was my first time attending and sending something in to Otakon, and I didn't expect for it to even be run, let alone win category. So again, thanks everyone, because I was completely oblivious.
