Hinano 0
Is audience participation allowed for skits? I.e. can we drag people (by their own will of course) with us on the stage as part of the skit or is that not allowed/against the rules/a hazard etc?
Babbit 9
This isn't allowed for a couple reasons. Each participant in the Masquerade is required to sign a waiver. One of the reason you're signing that waiver is because you're making a public appearance. Any audience member pulled on-stage would be doing something of that nature, and would in turn, have to sign a waiver as well. Obviously the randomness of pulling a random person out of the audience makes such a task difficult. Second, your presentation is required be within the delineated area of the stage. The act of leaving the stage to grab an audience member would result in disqualification. And even the act of the audience member running up to the stage would be considered part of your presentation, and since it's not within the stage, it too would result in disqualification.
