Ollie 0
I know there are restrictions on videotaping the masquerade, but I've been told one reason is that the 1st Mariner Arena would either (a) require a fee for filming inside or (or and) ( comcast has exclusive rights to filming inside the 1st Mariner Arena. Were there any ComCast cameras there?
Babbit 9
Neither are correct. We wouldn't be able to use the Collins Agency for our videotaping if either was the case. You have to pay the 1st Mariner Arena if you redistribute the event through any type of audiovisual media. The few groups that approached us were shooting footage for documentary purposes as opposed to simple arhiving. We tried to keep the video cameras that were there simply to shoot the entire Masquerade down to a minimum.
adamkenshin 0
is there going to be any way of getting a copy of what was taped?
Babbit 9
Unfortunately, no. There are a ton of legal and copyright reasons, not to mention the fact that we would have to pay the 1st Mariner Arena for distributing the video of the event.
